Roy Berlinquette
During his 36 year career of public service with the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police, Roy held a broad range of positions of increasing
responsibility, from peace officer to senior executive level, in
corporate, operational and administrative areas. Roy retired as
Deputy Commissioner of the RCMP Northwest Region.
Roy had a key role to play in the change strategy of the RCMP and
has extensive experience and expertise in the area of police training.
As the Commanding Officer of "J" Division, Province of
New Brunswick, Roy was also responsible for the development and
implementation of a new RCMP District Policing Model. Among it's
many positive benefits, this new policing model streamlined administrative
overhead whilst maximising resource investments in crucial front-line
policing.
Roy brings broad operational experience to the team, where he will
provide expert support in the areas of Policing with the Community,
Composition and recruitment, Training, Education & Development
and Co-operation with other Police Services.
